UP Design has created a logo to go along with Montclair's newest tradition, Restaurant Week. The first-ever event will be held February 2-8, 2009 and the buzz is already brewing. The challenge was to create a logo that captured the diverse style of Montclair. Up Design's team created the perfect fit for Montclair as the style of the artwork not only reflects the town but also many of the participating restaurants.
More than half of the restaurants featured during the week have received raving reviews in both Zagat and the New York Times. And with more than twenty-five restaurants participating, posters and cards will be predominantly displayed all over town. Being that Montclair is the premiere restaurant town in the state, the marketing for Restaurant Week will also be taken to billboards, radio advertisements and featured in regional magazines.
