The T-fal brand originated in France where it is known as TEFAL. T-fal is a global brand of Groupe SEB, a world leader of small domestic equipment with products sold in more than 120 countries. Since inventing the nonstick frying pan in the 1950's, T-Fal has become a world leader in the housewares industry and is one of only a handful of companies that manufacture and market both cookware and small appliances in the US.
